Parking
Library parking is available in the municipality’s Spring Street Garage adjacent to the library. Drivers may enter the lot from Spring Street or from Sylvia Beach Way, the library access driveway off Wiggins Street. Take a paper ticket when entering the garage. Library cardholders may have their ticket validated for up to two hours of free parking per day when they visit the library. Other visitors receive 30 minutes of free parking if they use the Spring Street Garage. For more information about parking in Princeton, click here.

Book Drops
We empty our book drops daily. If there is an issue with a book drop, please let us know.
There are also return slots inside the library, in the hallway, on the first floor.
- 400 Witherspoon Street (Municipal building parking lot)
- Princeton Shopping Center, between McCaffrey’s and the bus stop
- Sylvia Beach Way, in the driveway adjacent to the library

Public Transportation
The library is accessible via public transportation.
By rail take the New Jersey Transit Northeast Corridor Line to Princeton Junction and transfer to the Princeton Local (a.k.a. “The Dinky”). The free Muni bus service also runs from the train station to Princeton. NJ Transit Bus Services 605 and 606 serve Princeton and the surrounding areas.
